The Ministry of Music at the First Presbyterian Church of Edmond proudly shoulders the responsibility of reaching as many people as possible through music that creates an atmosphere for worship. Groups with NO AUDITION required:

Sanctuary Choir

For adults of all ages
Rehearses on Wednesdays at 7:15 pm
This group sings and rehearses year round.

Contemporary Choir

For adults and students of all ages
Rehearses on Sundays at 4:30 pm
The groups rehearses and sings in worship periodically during school year.

Kids'  Music

For kids in 1st – 5th grades
Rehearses on Sunday afternoons beginning in January

Occasional Choir
For adults and students who would like to sing for special occasions like Christmas and Easter

Groups requiring developed musical skills:

True North

For adults of all ages
Rehearses on Thursdays at 7 pm
Leads worship in the 2nd service year round
Participation is determined by the requirements of the music.

Chancel Bells

For adults of all ages
Rehearses on Wednesdays at 6:15 PM
Rings periodically during the school year
Participation is limited to 13 ringers.

JuBELLation

For students in 7th – 12th grades
Rehearses on Sundays at 5:40 PM
"Rings" periodically during the school year
Participation is limited to 13 ringers

Kids’ Handbells

For kids in 2nd-6th grades
Rehearses on Sundays at 3:30 PM
Rings periodically from September –December
Basic music reading skills required
